Last name pronounced Hertz-lick.
As a junior last season, Herzlich racked up 145 total tackles including three sacks. He also had three interceptions. Herzlich, who is his team's defensive MVP, was named to the first-team all-Midline, first-team all-Central and first-team all-Chester County teams as well.
A two-sport star, Herzlich excels and has been offered in Lacrosse as well. He will play football on the next level.
Coach John Vogan: “He’s extremely aggressive to the point where we have to tone him down in practice because he really only has one speed. And that’s a good problem. We try to do light during the week, but every now and then he can’t do it. He’ll run through the line and knock a kid down, but he helps him up and looks at me to see if that’s ok (laughs). The one thing about Mark is that he really comes to play every night and saves his best games for the biggest games we play. He’s definitely a big time player.”
