Victor "Macho" Harris has the potential to play running back or cornerback on the next level. He ran a 4.46 in the 40 yard dash during Virginia Tech's 2003 summer camp. As a junior, he rushed 185 times for 2,210 yards and 33 rushing touchdowns during the 2003 season. He had eight receptions for 93 yards and two touchdowns. A star on special teams as well, Harris returned 10 punts for 317 yards and two touchdowns.
As a cornerback, he made 43 tackles including two tackles-for-loss. He added eight interceptions, four pass break-ups, three forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.
Coach Burton: "There’s not much he cannot do [on the football field]. He can catch, he can throw, he can run, and he holds on kicks. You can’t teach elusiveness. He ran a 4.4 at Virginia Tech’s camp last summer. He’s a tremendous, tremendous athlete."
