Subject: Why Georgia & Tennessee?
Posted by: Ridor on Sun Aug 3 2008 6:15:18 PM
Message:

I know we probably will never get the answers from Coach Ryan on
everything else -- she likes to keep things to herself.

I was quite shocked to see the schedule on Lady Volunteers that
includes the early meeting with the Cavaliers. Not only that, Daily
Progress mentioned that the Cavaliers will play Georgia.

Last season, Tennessee and Georgia finished 2nd and 4th in SEC
standings. South Carolina, whom the Cavaliers blew 16-point lead and
lost by two (66-64), tied for 9th in SEC standings.

South Carolina, before the hiring of Staley as Coach, was/is perennial
doormat of the SEC.

The question begs: Is Coach Ryan insane to schedule Tennessee and
Georgia? Maybe she's preparing the team whom returns 4 starters for
the trip to the Final Four.

Yeah, that's it. Prepare them for the Final Four.

Discuss.
