I agree about Kljestan; he was pretty bad for most of match. He did
tackle well but as you pointed out his passing was atrocious. Wynne
and Edu were studs as far as I was concerned. Bradley was pretty good
IMO; at least his passing was fairly incisive. I think the problem
lies with the wings pinching in too much with the Diamond formation
and expecting Orozco and Wynne to get forward in the attack.
I also didn't think that Edu fouled the guy in the box as the Japanese
guy took a dive; I don't know what JP & Marcelo were looking at. I
think we went too defensive after we got the goal and sat back too
much but we got the result and that is all that matters; hopefully we
keep improving and take down Holland and Nigeria.
I love Orozco but he is a CB and if Spector wasn't injured maybe we
could have brought in a true LB in Bornstein or Pearce to be more
dangerous on the left side; though I think Orozco did pretty good in
2nd half shutting down Japan's forays down the right.
Anyway, thank the Good Lord we won as I would have been miserable or
shall I say more miserable at work today. That was a game we had to
win, period.
