Message:
1.) Palmer is definitely the safter bet at QB. He's slightly overvalued in
fantasy leagues, but he's got better weapons around him, and almsot
definitely put up more points than Favre.
2.) I assume you have no TEs if you're thinking of taking Cooley.
3.) If this guy is the least bit fantasy savvy, no way will he give up
Steven Jackson. If he does, you would almost certainly have to give up
Portis.
If you want Steven Jackson, then you may have to conceed to having
Brett Favre as a QB, because realistically only Palmer would be an
upgrade over what he currently has, so you'd have to give up Carson
Palmer. Now, it's too bad you hadn't proposed this about 2 weeks ago
or even a week ago, because Jackson's value was probably
considerably lower given his training camp status. But, with him in
camp, and presumably healthy, Steven Jackson is probably the 3rd
best back in fantasy right now so he's got a high value, so you're gonna
have to pay to get him. And you can argue that he's better than
Peterson, due to durability concerns for AP.
