they've been on a recruiting TEAR, and only the fact that Bernardino
also has been getting great classes has held them off. It now appears that Florida State is going to get left in the dust. Still unknown as to how VT and GT will weather the storm and significantly improve. GT has had some isolated coups, like Nevo and Plummer, and VT as well, like Sarah Smith and Charley Higgins, but neither of those teams is keeping pace with UNC and UVa in terms of strength of recruiting classes. I think we're going to have to continue this for awhile, and it's exciting to think that both UNC and UVa might well get into the top ten on a consistent basis if this trend continues. |
