the men’s 10K open water race at the 2008 Open Water National Championships in
Minneapolis, Minn. Crippen, who has twice won the 800m freestyle at Nationals,

How do athletes qualify for the Olympics in this event? I saw the 10K listed as an
event, but I didn't see anything about it during trials and there's nothing in the article
about it.
Does Crippen still have a chance at making it to Beijing?
