compare the numbers with someone else who has spent a lot of
time "playing in the middle."
as noted, in 4 years, shelden fouled out 16 times and had at least 4
fouls in a game 50 times. through 3 years, hansbrough has only fouled
out twice and had at least 4 fouls in a game 22 times.
the premise that the refs protected shelden throughout his career is
entirely refuted by the facts.
