you suggested shelden never fouled out. i showed that in fact he fouled
out 16 times, including twice in NCAA losses, and had 4 fouls in an
additional 34 games. the fact that he didn't foul out in 34 of these 50
games would not, in my mind, equate to the "vast majority" of the
games. in any event, his minutes would have been limited in key points
of almost all of the 50 games to try to protect him from a 5th foul.
my point was only to counter your supposition that shelden never fouled
out. if you don't think the facts counter that point, there's simply no
convincing you.
