would appear that Packer will be a starter. If they both start along
with Carraway, our closer will be someone who hasn't proven
themselves, either Morey or Arico who were OK but not great as frosh,
or an incoming frosh. I tend to agree about Lorick (midweek at best)
and thought Tierney looked awful during the O & B World Series last
fall. Don't know what to make of Wilson or Lucas, and of the incoming
frosh other than Hultzen and Silverstein. I think Proscia, Grovatt
and Gosselin would have been starting under any circumstances, now
they're just the 3, 4, 5 hitters instead of the 6, 7, 8 hitters (or
whatever).
