Virginia Football: Spring Football Festival

ESSENTIALS

SPRING FOOTBALL FESTIVAL NOTES

The Virginia Spring Football Festival returns to Scott Stadium on Saturday, April 12. A variety of pre-game activities will start at noon followed by the annual spring football game at 2 p.m. All events are free to the public and there is no charge for parking at Scott Stadium and in the adjacent lots.

Gates will open at noon on the north, east, and west ends of the stadium. The Festival activities will be held on the field, at the north end of the stadium on the Pergola Plaza, and on the east side of the stadium.

On field level, fans of all ages can participate in a series of football combine events to test their gridiron skills. Activities include a 40-yard dash, field goal kicking station and target throw.

PREGAME ACTIVITIES

  • 12:00p.m. - The NFL-Style Combine Challenge will be featured on the field. The activities will include: Field Goal Kicking Station, 40-yard dash, and Football Toss. A UVa student tailgate will take place in the northeast corner of Scott Stadium
  • 12:45p.m. - Question and answer session with former UVa football players at the Pergola Plaza
  • 1:50p.m. - Best of Cavman video unveiled
  • 1:55p.m. - The Rock Weir Award presentation
  • 2:00p.m. - SPRING GAME BEGINS
